School is almost out!!

The school year is almost over (Can you believe it??? I know I can't!)!!!!!! I'm sad too! I become a secluded hermit over the summer! I'm going to miss my friends, and seminary, and orchestra, and and and... :'O It makes me depressed! (you can tell I'm a bit of a social person... hehe) I don't do alot over the summer! Where I live, you can't get a job till you are 15 (like restaurants and stuff like that). I don't turn 15 till the summer is half way over! Many people aren't willing to hire either :P In the past summers, I've ridden my bike all over the place and went to girls camp (oh and last year we had a dance festival). Sometimes we travel too.

Well, this blog is about my life, through a lens, so I will give you some photos!

This one is our orchestra group. (which, BTW, you can follow here) I'm totally going to miss these guys once summer starts! They are amazing! Annnnnddddd next year 1/2 of us will be at Skyline! (well, maybe not half, more like 12 out of 15!) (and just so you know, I'm the 4th in from the left on the back row). These guys are like my 2nd family! Did I already say that they were amazing?

So, I LOOOOOVVVVVEEEEE Cherry Blossom trees! They are so beautiful! Lots have been blooming here, so I have been in heaven for a while.I carry my camera pretty much everywhere, so while going to school the other day, I took some photos! :D I edit them with a photo editor called befunky. It's not too bad, though if you don't have a premium membership, it has 3-4 ads (that change every 2-3 minutes) and you can't use the cool stuff... But it is pretty nice!

(same photo, different style!)

Well, that is all for now. I need to get some sleep! lol! :D See you all later!

  1. Your cherry blossom photos are lovely!

Thank you for visiting Rook No. 17 and for your kind compliments. I began writing a response to your question, but realized that your blog is set to "no-reply", so I was unable to send you a reply through email. So, I hope you don't mind my answering your question here:

Linky parties are a great way to find new and inspiring blogs, and to gain exposure for your own. It’s also a great way to begin building a network of supportive bloggers-in-arms.

To participate in a linky party, first click on the link at the bottom of the post that says “Click Here to Enter”.

Next, you’ll want to copy the URL of a specific post from your blog that you’d like to share and copy it in to the field that says “Link it to”.

Where it says “Caption or Title”, create a descriptive & catchy title for your post

Enter your email address in the next field

Create a thumbnail of your post by clicking “From File” or “From Web”. “From Web” is the easiest to use, as it will take you to a screen with photos from your post. You simply click one to select it.

Then you’re done with the linking part.

The next thing you want to do is copy the html code for the “button” belonging to the party’s host/hostess. Copy the code, then paste it into the html of the post that you linked.

It’s always a good idea to go back over the party rules and guidelines to make sure that you’re meeting the criteria required by the host/hostess.

A few tips for successful “partying”
 Link up specific posts, not your general URL
     Leave the host/hostess a comment
     Visit other participants

Please feel free to stop by and link up to my current party: http://www.rookno17.com/2011/05/ballerinas-berries-and-betsy-mccall.html?utm_source=BP_recent

Let me know if you have any other questions!

    Best, Jenn
