Spiritual Sunday- He is Risen!

I think we have established the fact that I can not- for whatever reason- post on-schedule. Just bear with me. :) So, I thought I would write one now since it's 11:34 on Easter Sunday. And since it's Sunday, that means that it's Spiritual Sunday! :D

I've tried to put a lot of thought into this post. And, I hope I don't jump around and lose you.

Whenever you hear the word, "Easter", you might think of the Easter Bunny, colored eggs, chocolate, candy, and maybe even the gym (if you know what I mean... *sigh*). Unfortunately, if you are thinking of these things, and you don't remember Christ, you may have lost sight of what's really important. Easter is a lot like Christmas- while it's good and celebrates change and happy times, people like the Easter Bunny and Santa Clause have replaced Christ and His important role in said holidays- HIS holidays. And, commercialism sure hasn't helped either. **coughcough**walmart**coughcough**

But, anyway, I was digging though my seminary binder (kids, listen to me. KEEP your seminary binder! Take it home with your scriptures over the summer! You never know when you will need it!) and I found this little gem that my seminary teacher gave me this year. Listen to the song and then come back to the page.

(Click here to listen to the song)

If you click on the photo, it will get bigger! :D
The Atonement is a major part of Easter. Without the Atonement, we wouldn't be able to return to Heavenly Father. I just thought I would share this with you. It's such a powerful song.

The LDS Church has come out with some really great Bible videos. They have an Easter one here that you need to watch. Like, NOW. So, go click on the link already!

I want to cry, this video makes me so happy. I just can't explain it. Christ really did this for us, and because of Him, we can return to Heavenly Father again. We can live with Him again! I'm filled with so much joy when I think of this. And, we can see our loved ones again too. I can't wait to see mine again. :) And, you know I'm gonna go and meet Beethoven, Bach, Brahms, and the rest of the classical composers, musicians, and conductors I adore. ;) I'll also go and see the few friends that I have lost.

And also think, Christ must have loved us A LOT to go though so much grief and pain. "The worth of souls is great in the sight of God" ~Doctrine and Covenants 18:10. Our souls are worth so much because of what Christ has done for us.

He is Risen!

This is my favorite picture of Christ and Mary Magdalene after He is resurrected- hands down :) Just look at the hope and happiness in her eyes! It was painted SO well. My compliments to the artist!

I leave my testimony with you in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Have a great day and don't forget your camera!
